WOW! How does it works? Every partecipant can choose between SEA PATH, SAND PATH, SUN PATH according with our level of impro experience (basic or advanced level), will work 12 hours with teachers of that path: 6h with the first teacher + 6h with the second (for example, if you choose SEA PATH, you will work 6h with Elena Selleri and 6h with Romain Guyot). Workshops with Romain Guyot, Alice Rey, Anne Buntemann will be in English; workshop with Cesar Gouvea will be in Spanish; workshops with Elena Selleri and Omar Galvan will be in Italian.

COSTS

Registration for the festival is individual and the costs indicated refer to the package which includes training, gadgets, welcome aperitif, transport to and from the laboratory rooms, evening shows, final dinner and single bed in one of the following types of accommodation:

Since there are a limited number of places and related types of accommodation available in the village, the organization will try to satisfy the preferences indicated at the time of registration, in relation to the availability present at the time of registration.

For those who register alone for the Festival, they will have shared accommodation with other participants assigned by the organization, even in mixed accommodation.

Registrations, including credit transfers, will be valid only on the official site www.improfestival.it from Tuesday 11st July at 10:00 am.

(It is not allowed to send a copy of the bank transfer BEFORE the official opening of registrations.)

You will receive the registration confirmation  within 72 hours from your deposit payment.

In case the accommodation you chose is sold out, you will receive an e-mail with a possible alternative, specifying the related price.

At the end of the registration deadline, it will be necessary to wait a few days to receive an email confirming your participation in the festival, with all the relevant specifications.

In case of cancellation of the event for reasons not attributable to the Organization the deposit will be returned.

In case of defection by the participant, the deposit will not be returned.

Prices include both the final dinner and the final party with DJ Set on August 31st August. Additional food and beverage are not included.

To be part of the Salento Improfestival it is not possible to book accommodation independently.

It is not possible to stay for a shorter period than that proposed in the program.

All prices do not include food and beverages, except for final dinner + entrance to party and DJ set on Thursday, 31th August.  

Bungalows will be available starting at 4:00 pm on August 27^th and will be left free at 10:00 am on September 1st. (If you'd like to stop for a few more days to enjoy the wonders of Salento, you should contact the organization of the Salento Improfestival as soon as possible to check the availability and receive the communication of costs).

Any food intolerance has to be reported to the organization the first day you arrive.

The loss of the scheduled activities following the arrival late or early departure does not entitle to a refund.

CAMPING LA VECCHIA TORRE

The Camping La Vecchia Torre is a place to stay and to come back. Born in 1967 from an intuition of the engineer Niccolò Coppola, it makes its strong point of fifty years of experience in tourist accommodation. The location on the sea makes the structure unique by offering the possibility of using the beach reserved for guests of the structure, just a few steps away from any location or accommodation. About 3 km away is the center of Gallipoli, lying on the sea, with its strength, grace and the beauty, with its ancient Greek Fountain, its Churches-Art galleries, its austere Castle, its Baroque palaces, the mysterious tangle of its streets, the friendliness of its people, the liveliness of the beaches and the nightlife.  

ACCOMODATION

All accommodations have a kitchen equipped with dishes (excluding the coffee maker), fridge, bathroom, bedroom / s with bed linen and covered veranda with table and chairs, shaded terrace. Bath sponge set available on request at an additional cost.

·      Mono for 2 pax: consists of a single room with double bed and kitchenette.

·      Bungalow for 2 pax: consists of a double bedroom plus an area with bathroom and kitchenette

·      Mono for 3 pax: consists of a single room with double bed, single bed and kitchenette.

·      Bungalow for 3 pax: consists of a double bedroom plus a single bed in the kitchen area

·      Mono for 4 pax: consists of a single room with a double bed plus a bunk bed and kitchenette.

·      Bungalow for 4 people: consists of a bedroom with a double bed and another with 2 single beds with kitchenette.

·      Bungalow for 5 people: consists of a bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed in the kitchen.

INCLUDED SERVICES

All consumptions, final cleaning, parking, the free beach, not equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, but reserved for camping, entertainment are included. It is possible to rent the beach bed on site at the bazaar (limited number of sunbeds).

A coin-operated laundry and drying service is available 24 hours a day.

The campsite overlooks the beach, located inside, free and not equipped.

Due to Covid regulations, a paid shuttle service is provided to reach the city of Gallipoli, and it will be possible to make arrangements directly with those who will provide the service.

Car / motorbike parking is free exclusively for Festival members.

EXCLUDED SERVICES

For each home the first supply of bed linen is provided, while there is no bathroom and kitchen linen.

It is possible to ask for the bathroom set consisting of 1 face + 1 guest + 1 shower towel at a cost of € 5 per person.

It is possible to request a change of bed linen and towels with a supplement of € 20 per person.

Inside the campsite there is a restaurant / pizzeria with special menus for festival participants, a bazaar-newsstand, a mini-market - fruit and vegetables, two bars. Furthermore, it is possible to use the vehicle rental service such as bicycles and motorcycles.

Upon arrival, there will be allocation of accommodation, gadget and detailed program.  

IMPROV APERIF Sunday August 27th from 7 pm

At 7:00 pm a welcome drink will be served, the complete program with all the activities will be officially presented and you will be able to meet the teachers.  

WORKSHOP

The festival includes 12 hours workshop, with 2 workshops lasting 6 hours each, all carried out simultaneously.

There is a free bus service to go anda back from workshop’s rooms, located in Gallipoli.  

GADGET

All members will have the official gadget of the Festival for free.  

NIGHT SHOWS

Almost every night there will be theater improvisation shows that will feature teachers, the Improvvisart’s actors and the final performances.

Further info will be available at the presentation of the program on site.  

BOAT TRIP (Optional) transfer departure about at 2 pm, boat departure at 4 pm - back at 7:30 pm

On Thursday August 31st, the wonderfull boat trip (optional) will departing from Santa Maria di Leuca, with aperitif and music on board, is scheduled to go to the beautiful coves of the Salento sea to see the sunset all together. The official confirmation and the cost (about € 30 per person) to be paid separately, will be communicated during the welcome drink.  

MINI-WORKSHOP (optional) Thursday August 31st from 10 am to 01 pm

For those who really want to work with the others teachers, on Wednesday August 31st the organization will create several mini workshops lasting 3 hours each by the teachers of the Festival, which will be announced and open to all participants of the Festival during the welcome drink. .

It will be possible to register on during the Festival at the price of € 30 per person for each individual mini workshop.  

DINNER + PARTY On the evening of August 31st, to conclude the experience lived together in a great way, dinner and the final party until late at night are planned for everyone.  

THAT'S ALL !?

"That's all!? What can I do during the other nights?". If you really are allergic to relaxation and want to have fun, Salento is the one for you! Every evening around Gallipoli there are many opportunities to have fun, between “sagre” and pizzica nights.
